Founder(Vanagam – Nammalvar Ecological Foundation)

• 1936 – He was born at Elangkaadu, Thanjore Dist. Graduated in Agriculture from Annamalai University
• 1960 – Placed as researcher at Regional Govt Farm Research Station, Kovilpatti, worked few years and quit from job.
• 1968 – 1979 – worked as farm researcher and trainer in Islands of Peace organization, which was founded by Dominique Pire, a Belgian Dominican who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1958.
• 1973 – 1981 worked with people belongs to tribal land of Anjatti and Murattai, Krishnagiri dist.
• 1982 – 1986 – Developed twenty plus acres social forest at Ammangkorai, Pudhukkottai dist, worked with farmer around pudhukottai
• 1986 – 1996 – Developed farm research field and social forest called KOLINJI FARM pudhukkottai (dist)
• 1994 – Created, people federation for poison free food.
• 1996 – “Seed Travel” – to recover and multiply traditional seed varieties, travelled through out the state and some parts of country, fifty plus traditional paddy, rare breed pulse, vegetable and green seeds were saved and shared among Tamilnadu farmers.
• 1998 – Founded Erode Organic farmers movement, training and field creation
• 2000 – Fought for Neem patent, challenged in Europe and won the battle with his co-traveler Vandhana Siva and others.
• 2001 – “Save Water Reservoir” which cover 500 km walk, started from Bhavani Basin
• 2002 – Founded Institution called “ Thamizhina vaazhviyal palkalaikazhagam”
• 2005 – worked at Tsunami affected areas in Nagappatinam Dist, Took three villages viz. Therkku pothigainallor, Mangaimadam and Periyakuthakai, Those Tsunami affected land were recovered to fertile land within period of six months.
• 2005 – Founded Tamilnadu Organic Farmers Federation.
• 2009 – Founded Vanagam Nammalvar Ecological Foundation
